Purpose
Designing a beginner origami book for children to foster creativity and enhance fine motor skills through engaging paper folding activities in underappreciated market like India
What Sets Us Apart
Origami 101 is an all-in-one beginner friendly Origami book. It includes a gist of origami along with two tutorials which can be practised using pages from the book itself.
Structuring it out
A 4x4 column and row grid with 0.5mm gutter space are used in the book layout with 1.5cm margin. All pages are designed within this layout.
Making it simple and consistent
A minimal 2D illustration style was chosen for simplicity and better understanding and easy comprehension
